A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has surpassed over one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas.
